Über die Universität
Die Georg-August-Universität Göttingen zählt zu den international bedeutendsten und traditionsreichsten Forschungsuniversitäten Deutschlands. Im Jahr 1737 im Zeitalter der Aufklärung gegründet, fühlt sich die Hochschule seit jeher den Werten von Demokratie, Toleranz und gesellschaftlicher Verantwortung verpflichtet. Als Volluniversität umfasst sie 13 Fakultäten und bietet ein breites Fächerspektrum in den Natur-, Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften sowie der Medizin an.
